We successfully concluded the third edition of an inclusive 8-week entrepreneurship program tailored to empower women with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Austria. FemPreneurship Academy has again demonstrated the power of inclusive education, accessibility, and community support in cultivating female entrepreneurship.
The Academy was designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, mentorship, and resources to transform their business ideas into reality. With guidance from accomplished experts and trainers, participants navigated essential business foundations, including market validation, business modeling, sustainability, and fundraising. The program celebrated the diversity of its participants, each bringing unique perspectives shaped by their personal experiences and backgrounds. Initially, most had already specific business ideas, but through the Academy, they refined their focus, tackling issues that directly impact their daily lives, communities, and fields of expertise. Their ideas evolved into socially conscious goals, aiming to create meaningful societal impact.
The program concluded with an online final pitching event, where participants presented their business ideas before a panel of expert jury members. The event was a culmination of weeks of hard work and commitment, enabling participants to receive constructive feedback and explore potential collaborations. The Academy was proud to receive support from the Vienna Business Agency for the third consecutive time.
Fueled by positive feedback and an unwavering commitment to inclusion, the JAMBA team is set to continue this annual initiative, further strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem for people with various health restrictions in Austria.
