Career4all Train the Trainer Academy is part of the Erasmus + program which supports education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. It is a joint initiative of Jamba organizations in Austria, Bulgaria, and Hungary.
The goal of the project is to enhance the capacity of education professionals and youth workers, so they can provide career guidance to young people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The project consortium aims to promote equity, support equal access to vocational qualification programs and create more opportunities for career development and social inclusion.
Jamba teams will implement successful European practices in the project to support young people’s education, training, and employment. Participants will be expected to start transferring the knowledge they gain to their matched mentees.
The program is designed for a broad range of participants:
- TRAINERS (including people with disabilities), between 18 and 45 years of age, who are keen to learn how to support people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, engaged in working with young people, and/or be in a role managing youth policy implementations or youth provision; and
- TRAINEES, between 18 and 29 years of age, who are people with disabilities and chronic illnesses
Based on the experience gained during the project, Jamba will prepare a unified framework for work – toolkits, and guidelines, which will be available online after the program to anyone who wants to learn more and who is eager to start working in the field.
